The Regulations under the Law on Integration and Individual Welfare ("Règlement d'exécution de la loi genevoise sur l'insertion et l'aide sociale individuelle") defines the amounts intended to cover the basic needs, for example: monthly maintenance fee of 977.- CHF for one person (food, clothing, energy consumption, housekeeping, transport, communication, leisure and training, etc.) and up to 1100, - CHF for rent and rental charges for one person.
