As an associated member of personnel and resident in Switzerland holding a type “P” legitimation card, am I required to take out Swiss health insurance?

Persons enjoying privileges and immunities are not required to take out health insurance, but they may take out Swiss health insurance on a voluntary basis and subject to conditions. Family members, holders of a type “P” legitimation card, are also not required to take out health health insurance. Family members, holders of a  type “H” legitimation card, are however not exempted and are subject to Swiss health insurance.
